(A)On or before the first day of March of each year, the department of job and family services shall certify to the department of education and workforce the unduplicated number of children ages five through seventeen residing in each school district and living in a family that, during the preceding October, participated in Ohio works first.
The department of job and family services shall certify this information according to the school district of residence for each child.
(B)Upon the transfer of part of the territory of one school district to the territory of one or more other school districts, the department of education and workforce may adjust the number of children certified under division (A) of this section for any district gaining or losing territory in such a transfer in orde
