(A)The department of education and workforce shall determine for each institution, by the last day of January of each year and based on information certified under section3317.03of the Revised Code, the number of career-technical education units or fractions of units approved by the department on the basis of standards and rules adopted by the department. As used in this section, "institution" means an institution operated by a department specified in section3323.091of the Revised Code and that provides career-technical education programs under the supervision of the division of career-technical education of the department that meet the standards and rules for these programs, including licensure of professional staff involved in the programs, as established by the department.
