If the department of education and workforce pays a joint vocational school district under division (C)(3) of section3317.16of the Revised Code for excess costs of providing special education and related services to a student with a disability who is enrolled in a community school, as calculated under division (C)(1) of that section, the department shall deduct the amount of that payment from the amount calculated for payment to the community school under section3317.022of the Revised Code.
