The board of education of a school district may request from the director of developmental disabilities the appropriate identification numbers for all students residing in the district who are medicaid recipients. The director shall furnish such numbers upon receipt of lists of student names furnished by the district board, in such form as the director may require. The medicaid director shall provide the director of developmental disabilities with the data necessary for compliance with this section. Section3319.321of the Revised Code does not apply to the release of student names or other data to the director of developmental disabilities for the purposes of this section.
