(A)As used in this section, "advanced learning opportunities in mathematics" or "advanced mathematics course" means learning opportunities or a course that provides academic content or rigor that exceeds the standard mathematics curriculum for the student's grade level, including a mathematics course that is two grade levels above the student's current grade level, as determined by the district.
(B)Except as otherwise provided in division (C) of this section, each city, local, exempted village, and joint-vocational school district shall provide each student that achieves an advanced level of skill on a mathematics achievement assessment as prescribed under section3301.0710or end-of-course examination under section3301.0712of the Revised Code with advanced learning opportunities in mathe
