Text
(A)As used in this section, "other retirement system" means the public employees retirement system or the state teachers retirement system.
(B)Except as provided in division (C) of this section, on application, a member of the school employees retirement system who is also a member of one or both of the other retirement systems and has ceased to be an employee under this chapter may be paid, in accordance with section3309.42of the Revised Code, the member's accumulated contributions to the school employees retirement system. This payment does not affect the member's membership in the other retirement systems or any right the member may have to a benefit or return of contributions under those systems.
(C)This section does not apply to a member of one of the other retirement systems who
