Text
(A)As used in this section, "other retirement system" means the public employees retirement system or the school employees retirement system.
(B)Except as provided in division (C) of this section, on application, a member of the state teachers retirement system who is also a member of one or both of the other retirement systems and has ceased to be a teacher for purposes of this chapter may be paid, in accordance with section3307.56of the Revised Code, the member's accumulated contributions to the state teachers retirement system, plus any applicable amount calculated under section3307.563of the Revised Code. This payment does not affect the member's membership in the other retirement systems or any right the member may have to a benefit or return of contributions under those systems.
