Notwithstanding any other provision of an alternative retirement plan provided under this chapter, a disability benefit granted under the alternative retirement plan is subject to an order issued under section2929.193of the Revised Code. The entity providing the alternative retirement plan shall comply with the order. On receipt of notice under section2901.43of the Revised Code that an alternative retirement plan participant is charged with an offense listed in division (D) of section2929.192of the Revised Code under the circumstances specified in that division, the entity shall determine whether the participant has been granted a disability benefit.
