Pursuant to paragraph A of Article III of the educational compact enacted in section3301.48of the Revised Code, there shall be seven members to the educational commission of the states who shall serve from this state, one of such members shall be the governor; one member shall be a member of the senate appointed by the president; one member shall be a member of the house of representatives appointed by the speaker of the house of representatives; and four members shall be appointed by and serve at the pleasure of the governor.
