Text

The department of education and workforce shall:

(A)Administer grants under section3301.19of the Revised Code in support of voluntary desegregation within school districts;

(B)Provide technical assistance to school districts developing voluntary plans for desegregation or plans to reduce or eliminate racial isolation;

(C)Develop desegregation plans as required by court order and provide technical assistance to school districts required to develop plans under court order;

(D)Report to the general assembly annually on expenditures made by the state to reduce or eliminate racial isolation and enumerate anticipated expenses for desegregation resulting from court action or action taken by the federal government. Last updated September 15, 2023 at 2:35 PM
