(A)As used in this section, "business education" includes, but is not limited to, accounting, career development, economics and personal finance, entrepreneurship, information technology, management, and marketing.
(B)The department of education and workforce shall adopt standards for business education in grades seven through twelve. The standards shall incorporate existing business education standards as appropriate to help guide instruction in the state's schools. The department shall provide the standards, and any revisions of the standards, to all school districts, community schools established under Chapter 3314. of the Revised Code, and STEM schools established under Chapter 3326. of the Revised Code. Any school district, community school or STEM school may utilize the standards.
