Text

(A)As used in this section, "adoption file" means a file maintained by the department of health under sections3107.12to3107.124of the Revised Code.
(B)An adopted person may request that the department of health disclose to the adopted person which court entered the interlocutory order or final decree of adoption regarding the adopted person if the adopted person seeks to do either or both of the following:
(1)Inspect, pursuant to division (D) of section3107.17of the Revised Code, a social and medical history form of a biological parent of the adopted person;
(2)Submit, pursuant to division (E) of section3107.17of the Revised Code, a request for notification of a correction or expansion of a social and medical history of a biological parent of the adopted person.
