Text
The attorney general and the Ohio peace officer training commission, pursuant to Chapter 109. of the Revised Code, shall establish a course of training in the legal and technical aspects of wiretapping and electronic surveillance, shall establish regulations that they find necessary and proper for the training program, and shall establish minimum standards for certification and periodic recertification for investigative officers to be eligible to conduct wiretapping or electronic surveillance under sections2933.51to2933.66of the Revised Code. The commission shall charge each investigative officer who enrolls in this training a reasonable enrollment fee to offset the cost of the training.
