Text
(A)A provider of an electronic communication service or a provider of remote computing service operating in the state shall comply with any court-issued search warrant or interception warrant issued for wire communications, electronic communications, an electronic communications system, or other electronic storage or data storage, regardless of whether user data is held at a location within the state or at a location in another state.
(B)A court may issue an order under this section on a service provider that is a corporation or entity that is incorporated or organized in this state, or a company or business entity doing business in this state under a contract or terms of a service agreement with a state resident.
