Text

(A)This section applies to members of the public employees retirement system except that in any circumstance in which either section2929.192or2929.193of the Revised Code applies this section does not apply.
(B)If an offender is being sentenced for a felony offense that was the cause of a physical or mental disability in the offender and was committed on or after the effective date of this section while the offender was a member of the public employees retirement system, in addition to any sanction it imposes under section2929.14,2929.15,2929.16,2929.17, or2929.18of the Revised Code but subject to division (C) of this section, the court shall order forfeiture of any right of the offender to a disability benefit from the retirement system that is based on the disability caused
