Text
(A)If a person is charged with a violation of section2925.041of the Revised Code or with any violation of this chapter or Chapter 3719. of the Revised Code that is based on the possession of chemicals sufficient to produce methamphetamine, the law enforcement agency that has custody of the chemicals may file a motion with the court in which the charges are pending requesting the court to order the chemicals destroyed in accordance with this division. If a law enforcement agency files a motion of that type with a court, the court may issue an order that requires the containers in which the chemicals are contained be photographed, orders the chemicals forfeited, and requires that the chemicals be destroyed.
(B)If the court issues an order under division (A) of this section, the court may
