Text
(A)A judge of a court of record shall direct the clerk of that court to notify the immigration and customs enforcement section of the United States department of homeland security when a suspected alien has been convicted of or pleaded guilty to a felony.
(B)The department of rehabilitation and correction monthly shall compile a list of suspected aliens who are serving a prison term. The list shall include the earliest possible date of release of the offender, whether through expiration of prison term, parole, or other means. The department shall provide a copy of the list to the immigration and customs enforcement section of the United States department of homeland security for the section to determine whether it wishes custody of the suspected alien.
