Text
After the arrest of the defendant pursuant to section2713.07of the Revised Code, if he escapes or is rescued, or bail is not taken or is adjudged insufficient, or a deposit is not made, the sheriff shall be liable as bail; but he may discharge himself from liability by putting in sufficient bail before judgment.
