Each officer and employee of a court of appeals appointed under section2501.16of the Revised Code shall receive the compensation that is fixed by the court of appeals and payable from the state treasury upon the certificate of the presiding or administrative judge of the district in which the officer or employee serves. The additional amount of compensation that the clerk of the court of common pleas receives for acting as the clerk of the court of appeals in the clerk's county and assuming the duties of that office and that is equal to one-eighth of the annual compensation that the clerk receives pursuant to sections325.08and325.18of the Revised Code for being the clerk of the court of common pleas is payable from the state treasury upon the certificate of the presiding or adm
