Text
(A)If security for costs is not given in a case mentioned in sections2323.30to2323.32of the Revised Code, at any time before the commencement of the trial, on motion of the defendant, and notice to the plaintiff, the court shall dismiss the action, unless in a reasonable time, which it may allow, security is given.
(B)This section does not apply if a party makes an application under section2323.30or2323.31of the Revised Code to qualify as an indigent litigant as set forth in section2323.311of the Revised Code.
