If, prior to January 1, 2008, a judge issues  an order under section2152.82,2152.83,2152.84, or2152.85of  the Revised Code that  classifies a delinquent child a juvenile  offender registrant based  on an adjudication for a sexually  oriented offense or a  child-victim oriented offense as those  terms were defined in  section2950.01of the Revised Code prior  to January 1, 2008, and  if, on and after January 1,  2008, the  offense upon which the order was based   is a sexually oriented  offense  or a child-victim oriented offense as those terms are  defined in  section2950.01of the Revised Code on and after  January 1, 2008,  notwithstanding the changes to  sections2152.82,2152.83,2152.84, and2152.85of the Revised  Code made  on January 1, 2008, on and after that date, the order  shall  rema

If, prior to January 1, 2008, a judge issues an order under section2152.82,2152.83,2152.84, or2152.85of the Revised Code that classifies a delinquent child a juvenile offender registrant based on an adjudication for a sexually oriented offense or a child-victim oriented offense as those terms were defined in section2950.01of the Revised Code prior to January 1, 2008, and if, on and after January 1, 2008, the offense upon which the order was based is a sexually oriented offense or a child-victim oriented offense as those terms are defined in section2950.01of the Revised Code on and after January 1, 2008, notwithstanding the changes to sections2152.82,2152.83,2152.84, and2152.85of the Revised Code made on January 1, 2008, on and after that date, the order shall remain in effect for the period described in the section under which it was issued as that section exists on and after January 1, 2008, subject to subsequent modification or termination under section2152.84,2152.85, or2950.15of the Revised Code, or, if division (A)(3) of section2152.86of the Revised Code applies regarding the child, for the period described in division (C) of that section subject to modification or termination under section2152.84,2152.85, or2950.15of the Revised Code, whichever is applicable, and the duty to comply with sections2950.04,2950.041,2950.05, and2950.06of the Revised Code on and after January 1, 2008, shall be considered, for purposes of section2950.07of the Revised Code and for all other purposes, to be a continuation of the duty imposed upon the child prior to January 1, 2008, under the order issued under section2152.82,2152.83,2152.84, or2152.85and Chapter 2950. of the Revised Code.
