Text

When a person who has entered into a written contract for the purchase of an interest in real property dies before the conveyance of the interest to the person, the executor or administrator of the decedent's estate, the surviving spouse, any heir, or any devisee or legatee having an interest in the contract may file an application for authority to complete the contract in the probate court of the county in which the executor or administrator was appointed. Notice of the time of the hearing on the application shall be given to the surviving spouse and heirs, if the decedent died intestate, and to the surviving spouse and devisees or legatees having an interest in the contract, if the decedent died testate, to the executor or administrator, if not the applicant, and to all other
