Text

The resident guardian of a nonresident ward shall give bond and be bound and controlled by all the statutes of this state as though the resident guardian were a guardian of a ward resident in this state, and shall have all of the authority of a guardian of a resident ward including the authority to lease or sell real property belonging to the ward. Unless removed by the probate court, a resident guardian of a nonresident minor shall hold that appointment until the minor dies or arrives at the age of majority, whether or not the minor is over fourteen years of age at the time of appointment.
