Text
(A)As used in this section, "developmental disability" has the same meaning as in section5123.01of the Revised Code.
(B)Any appointment of a corporation as guardian shall apply to the estate only and not to the person, except when either of the following applies:
(1)A nonprofit corporation organized under the laws of this state and entitled to tax exempt status under section 501(a) of the "Internal Revenue Code of 1986," 100 Stat. 2085, 26 U.S.C. 501 that has a contract with the department of developmental disabilities to provide protective services may be appointed as a guardian of a person with a developmental disability and may serve as guardian pursuant to sections5123.55to5123.59of the Revised Code.
(2)A nonprofit corporation domiciled in this state and organized under the laws
