(A)The officers of an association shall consist of a president, a secretary, a treasurer, and, if desired, a chairperson and one or more vice chairpersons of the board, one or more vice-presidents, and other officers and assistant officers as necessary. The officers shall be elected by the board. The chairperson and any vice chairperson of the board shall be a director. Unless the association's articles of incorporation or bylaws provide otherwise, none of the other officers need be a director. Any two or more offices may be held by the same person, but no officer shall execute, acknowledge, or verify any instrument in more than one capacity if the instrument is required by law or by the articles or bylaws to be executed, acknowledged, or verified by two or more officers.
