Text

The dimensions and specifications for nets provided in this section shall apply except as otherwise provided by division rule. The meshes of the back of the crib or car of all crib nets, fyke nets, or trap nets used in fishing in this state shall be hung on a third so as to hang squarely, shall be made of twine not heavier than eighteen thread, and shall measure not less than two and five-eighths inches stretched mesh as found in use or possession, measured on the bar. The meshes shall extend from the top to the bottom of the crib or car of the nets. No person shall place a screen or apron of any kind over the two and five-eighths inches mesh which in any way will tend to obstruct the passage of fish through the meshes.
