Text

(A)There is hereby created in the state treasury the mining regulation and safety fund, to be administered by the chief of the division of mineral resources management. The fund shall be used for the following purposes:
(1)Reclaiming land, public or private, affected by mining, or controlling mine drainage, for which no cash is held in the reclamation forfeiture fund created in section1513.18of the Revised Code;
(2)Specified purposes in sections1514.06,1514.11, and1561.48of the Revised Code;
(3)Administration and enforcement of Chapter 1513. of the Revised Code. All investment earnings of the fund shall be deposited into the fund.
