(A)Except as otherwise provided in divisions (B) and (D) of this section, the ownership of and title to all abandoned property that is submerged in Lake Erie are in the state, which holds title in trust for the benefit of the people of the state.
(B)Any person who recovers or salvages abandoned property from Lake Erie without a permit as provided in division (B) of section1506.32of the Revised Code shall file a written report with the director of the Ohio history connection not later than thirty days after the recovery or salvage if both of the following apply:
(1)The property is valued at more than ten dollars;
(2)The property has been abandoned for more than thirty years. The report shall list all such abandoned property that was recovered or salvaged and shall describe its locat
