Within ten days after filing his affidavit with the county recorder as provided in section1311.42of the Revised Code, the claimant shall serve a notice in writing upon the secretary or other officer or authorized representative of the railroad company, by delivering or leaving a copy thereof at his usual place of residence or place of doing business. Such notice shall contain a statement of the facts of his filing such affidavit, the county wherein filed, the amount of his claim, whether for labor, materials, or boarding furnished, and the contractor or subcontractor for whom rendered. When the notice cannot be served in the county where the affidavit is filed, it shall be served by the recorder upon the representative of the railroad by depositing in the post office a letter containing th
