Text
The interests of any tenants in common, survivorship tenants, or coparceners of any tangible or intangible personal property may be partitioned under this section pursuant to a partition proceeding. A proceeding for partition under this section may be filed in the court of common pleas of any county in which any co-owner resides. If a partition proceeding is filed and the court finds that partition of the interests in question should be made, the court shall order the sale of the property and division of the proceeds among the co-owners or shall partition the property among the co-owners. The division of the proceeds or partitioning of the property shall be either in proportion to the net contributions by each co-owner to the total property or as the court finds to be equitable and practic
