§ 18. Appropriations for expenses and activities of local veterans'\nservice agencies. Each county and each city of the state in which is\nestablished a county veterans' service agency or a city veterans'\nservice agency, as the case may be, is hereby authorized to appropriate\nand make available to the veterans' service agency of such respective\ncounty or city, such sums of money as it may deem necessary to defray\nthe expenses and activities of such agency, and the expenses and\nactivities of such agencies are hereby declared to be proper county and\ncity purposes for which the moneys of the county or city may be\nexpended.
