§ 1201. Subpoenas.\n A subpoena and a subpoena duces tecum, and the powers of the court\nwith reference to them, shall be governed by the CPLR, except that they\nshall be served only within the county. But the court, upon motion of a\nparty which need not be on notice, may issue either kind of subpoena and\npermit its service in any part of any adjoining county if satisfied that\nthe interests of justice would be served thereby.\n
