§ 94. Referendum on acts or resolutions of the town board without\npetition. The town board, upon its own motion, may cause to be submitted\nfor the approval of the electors any act or resolution of such board\nagainst which a petition could be filed as provided in this chapter and\nthe proceedings thereon shall be the same as if such petition had been\nfiled in accord with the provisions of this chapter.\n
