§ 178. Powers and duties of fire district secretary. The fire district\nsecretary shall attend all meetings of the board of fire commissioners,\nact as clerk thereof, and keep a complete and accurate record of the\nproceedings of each meeting and of all propositions, rules and\nregulations adopted pursuant to this article. The fire district\nsecretary shall have such additional powers and perform such additional\nduties as the board of fire commissioners may determine, not\ninconsistent with law.\n
