§ 88. Over Indian reservations. Such corporations may contract with\nthe chiefs of any nation of Indians over whose lands it may be necessary\nto construct its pipe line for the right to construct the same upon such\nlands, but no such contract shall vest in the corporation the fee of\nsuch lands, nor the right to occupy the same for any purpose other than\nfor the construction, operation and maintenance of such pipe line, nor\nshall such contract be valid or effectual until the same has been\nratified by the county court of the county in which the lands are\nsituated.\n
