§ 44 — Survey and map
§ 44. Survey and map. Before taking or using any land, for its\ncorporate purposes such corporation shall cause a survey and map to be\nmade of the lands intended to be taken designating the land of the\nseveral owners or occupants thereof, which map shall be signed by the\npresident and its secretary, and filed in the office of the county clerk\nof the county in which such lands are situated.\n
