§ 99-P — Empire state stem cell trust fund

* § 99-p. Empire state stem cell trust fund. 1. There is hereby\nestablished in the joint custody of the state comptroller and the\ncommissioner of taxation and finance a special revenue fund to be known\nas the "empire state stem cell trust fund".\n 2. The fund shall consist of all monies appropriated for its purpose,\nall monies required by this section or any other provisions of law to be\npaid into or credited to such fund. Nothing contained herein shall\nprevent the department of health from receiving grants, gifts or\nbequests for the purposes of the fund as defined in this section and\ndepositing them into the fund according to law.\n 3. Monies of the fund when allocated, shall be available for\nadministrative costs of the empire state stem cell board established\npursuant to title 5-A of article two of the public health law\nadministered by the commissioner of health and for funding stem cell\nresearch.\n 4. Money shall be payable from the fund on the audit and warrant of\nthe state comptroller on vouchers approved and certified by the\ncommissioner of health.\n * NB Repealed December 31, 2025\n
