§ 1156. Publication of notices; distress and sale.
1.Before\nproceeding to enforce the collection of tax liens pursuant to this\narticle, the enforcing officer shall publish such notices as the\ngeneral, special or local laws relating to his or her tax district\nrequires.\n 2. Proceedings to enforce collection by distress and sale of personal\nproperty or other means of compulsory collection shall not be a\ncondition precedent to the remedies provided in this article.\n
