§ 661 — Liability of purchaser pending an action
§ 661. Liability of purchaser pending an action. If the defendant\naliens the real property in question after the filing of a notice of\npendency of the action, and an execution against him for the plaintiff's\ndamages is returned wholly or partly unsatisfied, an action may be\nmaintained by the plaintiff against any person who has been in\npossession of the property, under the defendant's conveyance, to recover\nthe unsatisfied portion of the damages, for a time not exceeding that\nduring which he possessed the property.\n
