§ 50 — Filing of articles
§ 50. Filing of articles. Articles of incorporation, amendment,\nconsolidation, merger, conversion, or dissolution, when executed and\nacknowledged and accompanied by such affidavits as may be required by\napplicable provisions of this chapter, shall be filed in the department\nof state. The secretary of state shall, upon the payment of the fees as\nin this chapter provided, index such articles. Upon the filing of such\narticles, the incorporation, amendment, consolidation, merger,\nconversion, or dissolution provided for therein shall be in effect. The\nprovisions of this section shall also apply to certificates of election\nto dissolve and affidavits executed in connection therewith pursuant to\nsubsection (b) of section thirty-five of this chapter.\n
