§ 5. Any commissioner of police, superintendent of police, chief of\npolice, or other officer or officers, having the management, control or\ndirection of the police force of any city of the first or second class\nin this state, and any inspector, captain, lieutenant, sergeant or\nroundsman of the police force of any such city, who shall violate any of\nthe provisions of this act shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon\nconviction thereof shall be punished as prescribed by law.\n
