§ 76. Receiving bribes by members of legislature. A member of either\nof the houses composing the legislature of this state, or a person\nelected to become a member thereof, who asks, receives, or agrees to\nreceive any bribe upon any understanding that his official vote,\nopinion, judgment or action shall be influenced thereby, or shall be\ngiven in any particular manner or upon any particular side of any\nquestion or matter upon which he may be required to act in his official\ncapacity, shall be guilty of a class D felony.\n
