§ 2575. Children's institutions; duty of local health officer.
1.The\ncounty, part-county, city (over fifty thousand population) health\ncommissioner or district state health officer within whose jurisdiction\nany institution for the care of children, referred to in this article,\nis situated, shall immediately investigate any complaint against the\nmanagement of the institution as to the existence of any condition\ntherein dangerous or detrimental to life or health.\n 2. If after such investigation, such health commissioner or health\nofficer is satisfied that a condition exists therein which is dangerous\nor detrimental to life or health, he shall cause the said condition to\nbe remedied without delay.\n
