§ 3247. Actions against the corporation.
1.An action against the\ncorporation for death, personal injury or property damage or founded on\ntort shall not be commenced more than one year and ninety days after the\ncause of action thereof shall have accrued nor unless a notice of claim\nshall have been served on a director or the corporation or officer or\nemployee thereof designated by the corporation for such purpose, within\nthe time limited by, and in compliance with the requirements of section\nfifty-e of the general municipal law.\n 2. The venue of every action, suit or special proceeding brought\nagainst the corporation shall be laid in the county of Albany.\n 3.
