§ 1169. Actions.

1.In any case founded upon tort a notice of claim\nshall be required as a condition precedent to the commencement of an\naction or special proceeding against the authority or any officer,\nappointee or employee thereof, and the provisions of section fifty-e of\nthe general municipal law shall govern the giving of such notice. Except\nin an action for wrongful death, an action against the authority for\ndamages for injuries to real or personal property, or for the\ndestruction thereof, or for personal injuries, alleged to have been\nsustained, shall not be commenced more than one year and ninety days\nafter the cause of action therefor shall have accrued.\n 2. An action against the authority for wrongful death shall be\ncommenced in accordance with the notice of claim a
