* § 1140. Limited liability. Neither the members of the governing\nbody, nor any municipality, officer or employee acting in its behalf,\nwhile acting within the scope of their authority, shall be subject to\nany personal liability resulting from the construction, maintenance or\noperation of any of the properties of the authority or from carrying out\nany of the powers expressly given in this title; provided, however, that\nthis section shall not be held to apply to any independent contractor.\n * NB There are 2 § 1140's\n
