§ 62. Loss of life by misconduct of officers. Every master or other\nperson employed on any public vessel, by whose misconduct, negligence or\ninattention to his or her duties on such vessel, the life of any person\nis lost, and every owner or charterer through whose fraud, neglect,\nmisconduct or violation of law, the life of any person is lost, shall be\nguilty of a class E felony.\n
