§ 49. Inactive national guard. The inactive national guard shall\nconsist of the persons commissioned, appointed or enlisted therein or\nassigned thereto at this date, such officers and enlisted men as may be\nhereafter transferred thereto from the New York army national guard and\nthe New York air national guard and such persons as may be enlisted\ntherein under the laws of the United States and the regulations issued\nthereunder.\n
