§ 14. Staff of the adjutant general. There shall be under the\nadjutant general a staff to consist of the deputy adjutant general, the\nchief of staff and such other officers as the adjutant general shall\nappoint provided, that each force of the organized militia shall be\nrepresented on the staff of the adjutant general by at least one\nofficer. The staff of the adjutant general shall perform such\nfunctions, powers and duties as the adjutant general may prescribe.\n
