§ 130.8. Apprehension of deserters. It shall be lawful for any civil\nofficer having authority to apprehend offenders under the laws of the\nUnited States or of any state, district, territory or possession of the\nUnited States summarily to apprehend a deserter from the organized\nmilitia and deliver him into the custody of the organized militia.\n
